When can I expect my photos?
A.My standard turnaround time for edited galleries is 2–4 weeks. During peak season, it may take closer to 4 weeks. Rush delivery is available for an additional fee if requested in advance.
Can I see the unedited or raw files?
A.No. As a professional photographer, the final edited images represent my finished, branded work. Raw files are never released to the client.
How will I receive the photos from my session?
A.Final images are delivered through a private, password-protected online gallery. From there, you can view, download, and order prints.
We have a deadline. When should I tell you?
A.Please communicate any deadlines at the time of booking. I always do my best to help meet them, but I can’t guarantee turnaround for deadlines shared after your session has taken place.
My standard turnaround time for fully edited photos is 2–4 weeks. If I'm not made aware of a deadline, I can't be responsible for missed submission dates.
I need the photos fast! Do you offer rush editing?
A.Yes, I understand things come up. If you need your photos delivered faster than the standard 2–4 weeks, a Rush Editing Fee will apply to prioritize your gallery:
Delivery within 7 calendar days: $200 fee.
Delivery within 3 calendar days: $450 fee.
(This is required to push other client projects back and guarantee the fast turnaround.)
When should I share my vision, interests, or props?
A.As soon as possible! To make your photos truly personal, I need details about hobbies (like playing the piano!), clothing changes, and any specific location requests before your shoot date. Sharing these details is essential for us to plan and make sure I capture your student’s personality perfectly. Last-minute changes (less than 48 hours before the shoot) may not be possible to accommodate.
I want you to photograph my child's pictures/senior photos... Does a parent or guardian need to be present?
A.Yes, for subjects under 18, a parent or legal guardian must attend the entire session. This is important for several reasons:
Comfort & Safety: It ensures the minor feels comfortable and safe.
Vision Alignment: It ensures the paying adult approves the location choices, poses, and overall goals of the session.
Liabilities: It removes liability concerns from the photographer.
Can you pick up my child?
A.No, due to strict liability policies, I cannot provide transportation or pick up/drop off any client or subject. The parent or guardian is responsible for the subject's arrival and departure from the session location.
What if my child decides to end the session early?
A.If the subject decides to end the session early (e.g., after 15 minutes), the full session fee remains due. We allocate the entire scheduled time slot for your booking, and the photographer's time and travel costs have already been incurred. Refunds in this situation are issued solely at the photographer's discretion, minus the non-refundable deposit. My shoot time is up to 1.5 hours, this does not necessarily mean we will shoot for the entire time.
Do you have a studio?
A.In short, no I do not; however, I have used several co-working spaces in the Bismarck-Mandan area and will continue to utilize these spaces as long as the owners allow. Studio spaces can be rented for your session for an extra $50/hour.
Do I have to order prints through you?
A.Nope, you are free to order/print wherever you feel. I really love using mpix.com for great products. I highly recommend mpix.com for online printing.
What if we didn’t use the full session time?
A.The session fee covers more than shooting time — it includes preparation, planning, and post-processing. Refunds or partial credits aren’t issued for unused time, but in some cases, the remaining time can be applied toward a short follow-up session (for example, if we plan a second location later).
